Arippa Ecotourism center is located 52 Km northeast from Thiruvananthapuram city along Thiruvananthapuram – Senkotta state Highway. Arippa is gifted with its natural beauty and encompasses large diversified flora and fauna. The forest type is mixed with evergreen and dry decidious characters. Wooded highlands of the Western Ghats surrounding this place, offering a calm and peaceful destination for tourists amidst the natural forest environment. Arippa is a paradise for bird watchers and nature lovers. Arippa ecotourism center has a large number of birds specious. For ef. Malabar gray hornbill, flycatchers, Drongos, minivets, Mynas, Malabar trogon, Babblers, Warblers are some of them. Also, have a large population of herbivores like Sambar dears, Wild Bisons, Elephants etc. It's really a perfect hangout place for travelers in all aspects.
